Moodle is a way for you, as a student, to learn online.  If your teacher has a Moodle course, then there are a number of different types of information and activities that can be presented in their Moodle course.  For example, your teacher might ask you to submit assignments to Moodle, take online quizzes, contribute to a forum or a wiki,  or complete an online lesson or read an online book.

Your teacher also might use their Moodle course as a way to provide you with important information about upcoming events or assignments.  Your teacher also might choose to display student work or put important documents online.

All that you need in order to begin to use Moodle is a computer with internet access.  You can view courses that are open for guest access even if you don't yet have a Moodle account.  In order to participate in a course or create a course, you will need to have an account with SDUSD.  To access SDUSDs Moodle courses, you would need to go to moodle.sandi.net.
