IPS-Interactions in Physical Science is an inquiry-based program, which means it is designated to engage students in building understanding of scientific concepts and skills. Students perform numerous experiments and discuss the meanings of their investigations in small and large groups. In IPS, students assume more responsibility for their learning of the California State Standards for 8th grade science.
